Established in 1984 in Valenza as a goldsmithing workshop, it was purchased in 2001 by Aura Holding, a group that's controlled by the Traglio family. Carlo Traglio, a keen collector of contemporary art with a love for jewelry that goes way back, became its chairman and CEO. "Vhernier jewelry interprets the contemporary," says Carlo Traglio, who envisions contemporary art as being the reference point for his company's creative philosophy. The first Vhernier boutique opened in Milan in 2002. The brand is currently present in Capri, Rome, Venice, Paris, Geneva, Athens, Dubai, Beverly Hills, Miami, and in several department stores in the United States.
